unfold
I’ve always found it hard to tell someone I like them, because to be honest, I’m afraid of rejection, the one thing that slams your self esteem to the ground. And also because I find it a lil weird to tell someone “hey! I think I’m in love with you”. Maybe its just me. I’d rather just look out for signs to see if its going somewhere and let it happen naturally. And this happens mostly when you start to get close to that person, maybe your best friend?
We all, in a way or another have grown to be very close to someone, and the relationship then progresses to a stage where the both of you are really comfortable with each other, and in the eyes of everyone around you, you’re practically a couple but maybe you don’t realize it, or you do know, just that you’re a lil chicken ;P
When I was young I had this friend whom I grew close to, and the more you know about them, the more you learn to accept them for who they are, the weird habits, the long and winding hours of whining when things don’t go their way (and vice versa), and this would lead you to eventually falling in love with them.
But the thing is, you both being so close to each other, you would expect the other to realize these feelings that are building inside of you and hope that the other makes the first move to save you from total despair and eventually, you remain stuck at a stage where you have to accept the little closeness (but not more than that) that you both have and enjoy it for as long as it lasts
That is of course, until another person comes into the picture. That’s when you freak out and think to yourself “should I tell him/her how I feel?” or “OMG she’s going out with that JERK?!” or “OMG he’s going out with that B*TCH?!”. You want the best for that person, but at the same time, you want that person to be yours. Love is a sucky game eh?
This is a story of that experience and I hope you’ll enjoy watching it and hey, always remember, that special person is sometimes right in front of you, better catch hold of that person before he/she ends up with someone else.

That is why, sometimes, being the coward that I am now, I start to keep a distance and consciously stop myself from being that close to an individual coz I’m afraid of all the “What if it doesn’t work well…” / “What will happen to our friendship?” if I do decide to be honest about my feelings… Hmm… And yeah, if only the other person will make the first move

i tried it with my best friend. if you have not rushed into it just yet, i strong~ly suggest dropping hints and going subtly so that it doesnt get awkward. i rushed -___-

I know exactly how that feels, to be in that girl’s position. It progressed well for me though, my best friend and I actually ended up falling for each other. But then it didn’t work out, and I lost him, my best friend, forever. But I’ll never forget the good times we had, and this video brought those memories back to me.

Happened to me exactly like yours,Autumn. My best friend and I became more than just best friends. After a year and a half, things didn’t work out. I wish we would have just remained as best friends though, sigh. This video definitely brought back all the good memories that we shared. :’)
